I just want to be clear this is the first air fryer I’ve own. Walking around in my kitchen looking at all the necessary kitchen gadgets, I think, I don’t want another appliance. If you’re thinking I’ll make it work another way, don’t worry. I was you, and I’ve included oven directions. But if you believe that change can bring amazing new things, then get an air fryer! Angus Meatballs:

We used a frozen bag of Angus beef meatballs. If your local market doesn’t have any, a classic style meatball will work.
Easiest Meatball Marinara sub recipe
Ingredients
- 6- 16 oz hoagie rolls (about 4 meatballs a hoagie)
- Traditional marinara(2-3 tablespoons per hoagie)
- Mozzarella cheese-Slices
- 1 bag frozen Angus meatballs
Air fryer directions:
- Heat 24 meatballs in air fryer at 350-360 ℉/ 176℃ for 9 min.
- Remove meatballs from air fryer on a plate
- Place meatballs in the hoagies, cover with marinara, cut cheese slices in half and place on top.
- Air fry the hoagies at 350 ℉/ 176℃ for 4 min
Oven directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 ℉/ 176℃
- Heat meatballs according to package(microwave, air fryer, oven)
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper( if you don’t have any it’s fine take a min off the bake time)
- Place meatballs in hoagies, spoon over sauce and cut in half cheese slices and place on top
- Bake for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

- 12-18 tbsp Traditional Marinara sauce
- 6 16 oz Hoagie rolls
- 6 slices Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Air Fryer Directions
- Heat 24 meatballs in air fryer at 350-360 ℉/ 176℃ for 9 min or 4 min less than the package/ recipe instructions24 Angus Meatballs- Frozen
- Remove meatballs from air fryer on a plate6 16 oz Hoagie rolls
- Place meatballs in the hoagies, cover with marinara, cut cheese slices in half and place on top.12-18 tbsp Traditional Marinara sauce
